House of Nomad partnered with the builder and architect to craft a truly custom “forever home” in a peaceful, wooded Charlotte neighborhood. With a focus on natural beauty, modern elegance, and personalized touches, every detail—from luxurious floor tiles to dramatic Lilac Marble countertops—was thoughtfully chosen to highlight the home’s earthy yet sophisticated style.
At the heart of the home lies a sunken living room anchored by a custom media wall wrapped in textured wallpaper. Above, a cascading Noguchi lantern installation drops from the second floor, creating a striking focal point. This expansive space opens effortlessly into a richly hued kitchen and cozy banquette, perfect for gathering with family.
Upstairs, each bedroom was designed to reflect the personality of each family member, ensuring every space feels personal and unique. With its thoughtful materials, layered details, and inviting flow, this home blends comfort, individuality, and timeless design for the family who calls it home.
