- Book a driver (our favorite is Cassian) and head to a few wineries for the day! Make sure to ship back your favorites, shipping to the US isn’t as bad as you would think! You also can be risky and pack a few bottles in your suitcase – better believe we do both!
- Rust en Vrede: they specialize in the best red wines!
- Steenberg Wine Farm: close to the city which makes it a perfect spot for a quick tasting and meal!
- Tokara: beautiful art installation in this modern tasting room. Stop by the shop for some decent olive oil to take back!
- Haute Cabrière: amazing restaurant and tasting!
- Delaire Graaf Estate: this winery is not just gorgeous but we dined at the restaurant and it’s incredible!
- Zorgvliet: this tasting is memorable because it’s in the garden, and an air-conditioned lunch spot is also available.
- Warwick Estate: award-winning wines on a farm that dates back to 1771
- Simonsig: family-owned farm — try their whites!
- Meerlust Estate: eighth-generation wines!
- Dieu Donne Vineyards: built into the hillside with an epic view
- Moreson Farms & Winery: pure relaxation and calm drinking wine at this beautiful farm
- Boschendal Wine Estate: you can book a stay here or just come for some vino
- Babylonstoren: one of the Cape’s oldest farms, book a class or enjoy wine and the gardens.

- The Pot Luck Club: a sister restaurant to Test Kitchen! Great alternative if you can’t get in Test Kitchen — or do both!
- La Colombe — fine dining right outside of Cape Town in Constantia. Book ahead!
- Chinchilla: a perfect rooftop restaurant that was dropped straight from Bali into Camp Bay
- Gorgeous George: the Gigi Rooftop is a must
- Chefs Warehouse at Maison: check out the amazing restaurant owned by the owner of Weylandts!
- Lobster and Burger: in the heart of Cape Town’s foodie district, a good spot for a bite or drink.
- Grub and Vine: beautiful, bistro-style fare
- Willoughby & Co: phenomenal sushi
